1. I use to watch Bumpity as a child and I liked most of the stories that were read. I bought for my boys the book Tiki Tike Tembo. Also my school group did a routine on the show.

5. It is great to see that so many people remember Bumpity. I remember watching the show from the time I was three years old. My mother, a Multnomah County children's librarian was on several episodes and has fond memories of the people on the show. I recently showed her a clip from Bumpity Returns and she was thrilled to see footage of herself from about 1973. Thanks to Crispin and Patrick for your great work and keeping the memories alive.

8. I remember an episode where Bumpity wanted to pick some blackberries but had nothing to keep them in- and along came a turtle (a green glove with two eyeballs on the end of the middle finger and a bowl for his shell). They worked together and turned the shell upside down and YAY!!! a bowl of blackberries!!

10. I recall going on the Bumpity show twice with our puppetry class from Stevenson High School (teacher - Jerry James). We did "Jack and the Beanstalk", "Three Billy Goats Gruff" and some other stories. We were treated great by Mr. Bob Griggs and the crew, and it was a wonderful experience for us students. I wish we could get tapes of those shows. There is so little local children's programming anymore (if any). Thanks for the memories, Bob!
